📢 The Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market just launched a new chapter for the Voluntary Carbon Market, naming the first carbon-crediting programs meeting its high-integrity standards.

✅ ACR, Climate Action Reserve (CAR), and Gold Standard have been approved as CCP-Eligible programs, having met the criteria for effective governance, transparency, and robust, independent, and third-party verification. They have also met the program-related rules for the CCPs on robust quantification of emission reductions and removals, no double counting and sustainable development benefits and safeguards.

🌿 Over 100 methodologies are being assessed, with decisions expected in April and May, including categories like REDD+ and clean cookstoves.
