Mango Materials, a California-based biomanufacturing company, has developed a groundbreaking technology to transform methane emissions into carbon-negative, biodegradable plastics!

Using methane-eating bacteria, they create polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA), which decomposes quickly and is perfect for eco-friendly products like net-zero sneakers and sustainable sunglasses 🌱

Their new facility in Vacaville, CA, captures methane from wastewater treatment, converting it into PHA through bioreactors. This technology, supported by the U.S. Department of Energy, offers a promising solution to plastic waste and greenhouse gas emissions ♻️
