The BCA has published its latest issue paper: “Review mechanisms for supply side quality and integrity in the biodiversity credit market”

The Issue Paper outlines five key steps for review processes, stressing the importance of clear guidelines and criteria. Notably, it underscores the crucial role of Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities as custodians of global biodiversity.

This publication marks a significant milestone in the BCA’s ongoing efforts to foster integrity within biodiversity markets. The collaboration between the University of Nottingham and the BCA, supported by the Natural Environment Research Council, is driving progress in this vital area.
