Canadian Crops are Setting a New Global Standard for Sustainability

A new Nature Food study finds that wheat, canola, and peas grown in Canada have such low emissions that they could cross the Atlantic 17 times and still have a smaller carbon footprint than European equivalents.

This isn’t luck – it’s the result of decades of conservation practices like no-till farming, efficient fertilizer use, and strong soil carbon retention.
