TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods has partnered with us to adapt an existing protocol for reducing GHG emissions from fed cattle into Verra’s Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program!
Originally developed for Alberta’s Emission Offset System, this protocol quantifies emission reductions through innovative feeding strategies and technologies during the finishing stages of beef cattle at feedlots. With a global focus, a technical expertise working group has been established to update the protocol for worldwide use.
