Viresco Solutions Leads Panel at Queen’s University

Recently, the Viresco team lead a panel discussion at the University of Queen’s Commerce Engineering Environmental Conference!

Moderated by Sophie Meslin, this panel focused on Unlocking Nature’s Potential both in theory and in practice, while discussing how science, engineering, policy, business, and the earth can coincide to provide a sustainable future!

Lucie Viciano from the Canadian Space Agency discussed how earth observation technology is being utilized to accelerate sustainable solutions.

Trevor Paul presented the theory of nature-based solutions and how we can begin to measure their potential to offer a comprehensive range of environmental and social benefits.

And Rebecca E. Johnson expressed how sustainable agriculture practices can be implemented and quantified to make robust decarbonization claims within agricultural value chains.

The panel was very successful and provoked meaning discussion with the very attentive and eager audience!
